The staff at the 24-hour front desk were incredibly helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant stay, answering all my questions and providing great recommendations for exploring Kathmandu. The shared lounge area was like a cozy oasis, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. It felt like being snuggled up in a warm blanket, surrounded by good vibes and interesting people.

The owners go out of their way to help with storing trekking gear, lending trekking poles, and assisting with sending belongings home. the common area offers a great rooftop view and tasty food. the rooms are basic but provide good value for the price. the staff is supportive and responsive to any requests for information.

They were always available to provide information about Nepal and their own personal stories were inspiring. The hostel is in an ideal location, away from the busy streets, and offers a fine view from the rooftop. The rooms werenice and neat, and it was easy to meet other travelers. Planet Nomad Hostel is my go-to place in Kathmandu. They always make me feel at home. The staff even helped me retrieve my forgotten jewelry. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, Parking, Laundry, Bar, Restaurant. Coming back for xmas.
